I am going to be absent from this blog for awhile, I think. I am having cancer surgery May 6th; please pray, especially that day, that the Lord would just guide the doctors hands, and that they would get all of this cancer out of me (they are confident they can).

We find out the time tomorrow at pre-op; I will let you all know, I will post that at my “update blog”.

Holy Father, we put Bobby into hands by which he is already embraced.
Deliver him from fear of pain and of the unknown.
Set the cross of your dear Son over him, and guide with your wise Spirit the surgeon, the anaesthetist, and the theatre staff.
Anoint them as servants of your healing power, and while he is unconscious may his deepest thoughts and feelings rest in you.
May he rest in your peace and awake to praise your mercy and your glory.
