When I first started blogging years ago (circa 2005) many of my posts were pretty short; I’d say approximately 500 words or less. As the years have progressed they have gotten longer, and thus take a little more time and work to write. What would you all prefer. Shorter more frequent posts, or longer less frequent? I’m just curious. It will probably remain the same either way ๐ , but I am always interested in what my readers think on such things.
Both. I know our image-laden world likes short pieces of reading – but we need the longer works as well.
I personally prefer shorter posts these days Bobby, but please feel free to share what you feel you must! Gary
Bobby, itโs the quality of the content thatโs most importantโฆ and the quality of spiritual insight/direction of your blog is consistently thoughtful, sound, and edifying regardless of the length of the read. For me, itโs what the Spirit conveys by the useful platform and framing of your comment/explication/thoughts and understanding that I find โprofitable.โ There are those โreadsโ that challenge my standing capacity and preparation for understanding, prompting me to further study/researchโฆ and thatโs allowed me to acquire a deepened relationship by the person of the Spirit through His Own work and power of enlightenmentโฆ and Iโm sure that is true for other โregularsโ who find what you share as
โprofitableโ.
A bit shorter.
I agree with Trevor. You challenge my thinking and that is GREAT!
Just keep writing short or long please. You have to load whats on your heart and mind. Don’t let the crowd dictate. Keep writing for the hungry.
The longer ones. And may they still remain profound.
Humberto.
