Amen Bobby.
Decades ago before I started college, my 1st real job though temporary was as a laborer at a soda pop bottling plant. As a new Christian, I thought more of myself than I ought to. In spite of that a few of the guys there responded to the Word that the Lord sent from my mouth. I seldom remember that any more, but I remember it fondly. A year or so later in college a small band of us responded to a letter to the editor from an ex-priest turned philosophy professor lamenting the disinterest his friends, although ostensibly Christian had in discussing faith. I could apply that now to so many Christians – I think- who have little desire to talk about Jesus. This is not my real home, yet at times, I wish I had an audience – even from my own family – as if we were have an evening fireside chat about what the old guy has learned, and what he hopes for his children.
