Itโs always surprising to me (although it shouldnโt be) how I can dull I can be with respect to spiritual reality. My โtake awayโ from this podcast is that for me it actually โsank inโ how significant is the reality that Christ Jesus, the Son, who is โis the image of the invisible God, the firstborn โover allโ creationโ, is he who โwas in the beginningโ with the Father, before any free enactment of God (other than the free โperichoreticโ love of the Godhead). This very image of God, who is the Son and firstborn, is the same image and likeness that the โfirst Adamโ bore, even as God formed him and breathed into him the breath of life, fashioning him and making him head of humankind; yet so, even as the Son is โabove all rule and authority and power and lordship and every name named…โ That โconceptualization realizedโ helped me put much in perspective in that he โhimself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we may die to sins and live to righteousness.โ Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
Richard, amen! It is mind blowing to think about how God has been for us before ‘us’ as a total people ever existed!
