Giving Up Facebook and Twitter

My intention is to finally give up FB and Twitter, except for streaming my blog posts through. As a result, expect many more posts here; and expect them to be extra bloggy like this one. I started as a blogger in 2005, and I have always been a blogger at heart. It’s the best medium, I think, for communicating deeper theological things; at least as far as social media goes. So, stay tuned.

  1. Yeah, I keep going back and forth. But I’ve realized I’m purely spinning my wheels at this point. I usually do FB and Twitter to waste time while on my phone somewhere. I figured I can do better than that and not waste time and read the Bible or books on my phone instead. And that way I can stay out of trouble with people. Lol

  2. Dude, I gave up all social media years ago. I haven’t missed it but I have been happier.

  3. Anthony, that makes sense. I can see how you’d be happier. I have been successful in curtailing my social media activity for going on a week now. We’ll see how it continues to fare. I haven’t completely left it, but I have severely limited myself.
