  1. 🙂 Let me know what you think. There are some grammatical and spelling errors, but my point should hopefully come through.

  2. Hi Bobby, I tried again. I got most of the way through it the first time. There comes a place where I start to loose track of the arguments being recounted and countered. I liked the Torrance quote. Maybe it’s the jargon, but I felt like I was getting lost. You affirmed Muller to a point, but say that he missed the point at the last. Maybe it’s a mental block…ok hold the phone…
I went back and tried the 3rd time. This time, I glossed over the sentence structure, and gramatical errors, taking faith that they would not detract from my overall comprehension. I would say the article could be edited down significantly, but it would be helpful to reduce the number of clauses in many of the sentences. The sentences get hard to follow. You come by it honestly. I’m not the 1st to note similar difficulties in reading TFT :o). But I’m pretty sure I came out comprehending you thus far.
Again, I don’t think its the overall length that’s the problem, but the length of components, and maybe the subject matter is a little dry for we who are not reformed history buffs.

    I hope this helps brother.

  3. Youch, Duane, you didn’t have to be honest 😉 .

Seriously, I just punched this out in a couple of hours; it’s really just a stringing together of some important quotes. I need to do more synthetic work and boil it all down into a nice sharp point, eh 🙂 .

  4. I should say, Daune, that I am assuming a certain knowledge of the background context to what I’m discussing. I think I won’t post too much on this issue anymore. What’s important for the blog here, is to deal with the actual doctrinal points that EC has to offer. Check out that interview with Purves when you get a chance; it’s excellent!
